how to use the message board
An Internet message board is simply an on-line way of discussing a
subject matter between a large number of people. Unlike email every
message is publicly available allowing everyone to read the
comments and if they so wish, reply to them.
The bullybusters message board is split up into several areas for
children, parent and teachers. Although segmented in this way we
would encourage children, teachers and parents to post in each
others areas when appropriate and help inform each others
discussions. In addition to the bullying discussion areas we
also have two areas to discuss this website so users can point
out any problems they are having or make suggestions on how the
site can be improved.
When using the message board you can access the subjects by
clicking on one of the areas from the front page. This will take
you through a list of subjects, the most recent posted at the top.
If you would like to read the comments posted under any of the
subjects click the title. Or if you would like to start your own
subject click 'add new subject'.
If you clicked on a subject you will be taken to a list
of comments. You can read these in the order they were entered, if
a lot of comments have been entered a series of page numbers will
appear at the bottom, these can be clicked to access more comments.
If you would like to add you own comment, click 'post reply' and
fill in the form provided.
While using the message board a line at the top indicated where you
are in the board. You can click the various levels to work your way
back to the front page or to read other subjects.
