Bullybusters receives Cash for Kids/LFC Foundation Boost

Bullybusters received a huge boost this week as they received a grant from the LFC Foundation Community Fund, in partnership with Cash For Kids, to provide materials for young people to spread their anti-bullying message.   The funding will be used to purchase wrist bands, stress balls, kit bags and mugs that children can take away.

The LFC Foundation Community Fund was set up using £100,000 of the money raised at this years Liverpool Legends charity match. The fund is being administered by Cash For Kids.

As well as spreading the anti-bullying message, the items will be a reminder of the Bullybusters helpline and the number to call if you or someone you know is being affected by bullying. Having a lifeline to help prevent bullying is vitally important as bullying can affect children's self-esteem, mental health, health and wellbeing, and ability to engage with education.

The Bullybuster helpline operates every week day 3-6pm with the team taking calls from children, young people, teachers and parents.  The helpline is free and confidential  - 0800 1696928.

A huge thank you to Cash for Kids for your support.
