Hiya Rachelxoxo,

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having such a bad time lately. It's important that you attend school and your school by law has a duty to keep you safe whilst you are there. Do you have a learning mentor or a school counsellor that you could talk to about what's been going on, or perhaps a teacher that you trust?

By saying stuff over MSN she is cyber bullying and this is against the law. Cyber bullying is when someone uses technology to deliberately upset someone else. This is a form of bullying and you shouldn’t have to put up with it. It's good that you have saved the messages, as these can be printed and be used as proof to catch the bully. You could show these to your form teacher.

It is important that you save all evidence you have of the bullying. If you have nasty emails or things posted on your profile save them to your machine so you can use it as proof. Save texts or voicemails that say anything horrible. You could also block the bully on MSN or delete her from your contacts. We also always advise to keep a diary of the 4 W's, who, what, where, and when so that you have evidence to show teachers etc.

Remeber that you have done absolutely nothing wrong, and it is not your fault that this girl has been doing this to you. It is bullying and it needs to be stopped. If you need someone to talk things over with, then please call our helpline, Monday to Friday, 3.00pm -6.00pm and talk to one of our advisors. The number is 0800 169 6928.
