Hi to TJs mum

My son too is being bullied, in a way that your son is too, he too is coming up 10 in 2 weeks time, he has been isolated from his friends and now they are ganging up on him and telling teachers about things he hasn't done, and I have had to go in and see the head teacher again today,he has also been made to sit on his own in class because other members of the class cannot sit with him as they say he disrupts them, he himself has had many operations on his legs for "Talipes" and has spent many months on and off all his life in a wheelchair, he has to wear hospital boots and many splints and had to use crutches, and now this, it is not fair but we must try and find ways to help them through this, please keep in touch and maybe we can help each other a bit, thanks.

Hi Netty, thank you for taking the time to leave a message of support for TJ's mum, and it would be great if people could use this site in order to support each other. However if you would like to discuss the issues that are affecting you and your son then please either e-mail us directly, or alternatively you can phone our freephone helpline (please be aware that some mobile companies do charge), on 0800 169 6928.
Thanks again, BullyBusters Officer.

Hi all those who have contributed moving stories and comments of positivity regarding their childrens horrific bullying experiences. I have been reading though parents comments and some of the children's comments regarding this issue and finding it really concerning that there are so many children in Merseyside feeling in this way. No child should feel they have no where to turn or even suicidal as I have read so far. I have heard that Merseyside will soon be getting a school called James Bulger house - part of the Red Balloon Learner centres which will specilise in helping children who have suffered from bullying, the house rehabilitates and restores confidence to young people whilst still providiing an education in a protected environment. I feel all too often children who suffer bullying are seen as being fine once the bullying its self is over! But this is far from the case. Schools such as the Red Balloon ones, provide this support to help an emotionally scarred youngster return to a fully functional and normal life. This is also vital. Recently the Education authority in Liverpool stated that they were making progress in bullying and therefore would not sign up to a school like Red Balloon and this I find horrific, the stories I have read on this website contradict this entirely and I urge them to reconsider.
If anyone would like to know more about Red Balloon please go onto their website www.redballoonlearner.co.uk, this is where I learnt about the charity and show your support for a school like this to be set up!

yet again i feel bad a about what i am about to say, but when i was bullied as a child i struck out at the ones who made my life a misery.

would it be so bad to teach your kids like i have taught my own,
to stand up for themselves and not take the humiliation form the other kids?
