what to do if you are being bullied

  • Practise your body language
  • Be firm and clear but don't shout: This can make you look silly and they could laugh and hurt your feelings even more.
  • Get away from the situation as quickly as possible.
  • Tell an adult straight away using a written log. WHO WHAT WHERE and WHEN. They will take you more seriously if you write it down
  • If you are scared to tell an adult by yourself, ask a friend to come with you.
  • Don’t ever blame yourself, because no one deserves to get bullied.
  • It's not worth getting hurt to keep possessions or money, give them what they want, then report it to a teacher, parent or the police..
  • Try to avoid being alone in the places where you know the bully is likely to pick on you.

Remember there is no reason why anybody should ever be subjected to bullying. If you need a chat, give us a ring on 0800 169 6928.

Bully's usually have problems and need someone to help them to.
