am I a bully?
Admitting and recognising that you have a bullying problem is the
first step to stopping this behaviour. For suggestions on how to
deal with your problem read on.
If you feel that you may be bullying others, here are some things
you can do:
- Don’t be afraid to ask for help, call us 0800 169 6928
- Tell someone who you can really trust (Parent, Teacher). Ask a
friend to go with you for support, if you feel it will make you
feel better.
- Why do you think you are behaving like this?
- If you have problems in your own life, ask for help from someone
you trust, don’t suffer in silence- 0800 169 6928.
- Ask your parents to read our Parents section.
- Apologise to those that you have hurt or upset.
- Set yourself every day goals – Today I will not hurt anyone.
- Make new friends who don’t know how you used to behave by
joining after-school clubs.
Remember no one deserves to be bullied. You will never make any
true friends if you are constantly hurting people either physically
or by hurting their feelings.
